We established "Extendingtables.com" as a specialist area of Berrydesign to highlight the importance of our extending dining table designs and in recognition of the change in people's lifestyles where dining and entertaining has become more relaxed. With the development of more open living spaces in homes, the need for a kitchen table and a separate dining table has become a thing of the past, and an intimate family table which has the flexibility to extend quickly and seamlessly, when friends and family arrive to party, has been our focus.
Building a bespoke extending dining table is not only our business but our passion and we have earned a reputation amongst our clients for designing beautiful and original styles to suit every home.
We believe we are the only company anywhere offering such a bespoke service of making and designing a table to suit you of a quality and size unavailable elsewhere. We have just designed what may be the largest solid wood extending dining table in the world, and developed the first dining table with 3 extension flaps, allowing the table to extend from 8 people to 18 people in less than a minute!
Our extension mechanisms are designed to be easy to operate with usually only one hand necessary.
Extending Tables
Our tables have features such as rollers in the legs, carefully balanced pivots in the butterfly flaps, hand holds and locking mechanisms, to ensure your table is tightly closed. This combination brings you a perfectly balanced Extending Tables.
The comfort of chairs is equally important when dining, and we design fabulously comfortable dining chairs in sumptuous stain resistant fabrics which have all been specifically designed to work with our table styles. All our chairs are uniquely designed for strength, comfort and choice of heights(see chairs for more information).
We provide a personal and high quality service right through from ordering to delivery (see our testimonials) and deliver throughout the UK and all over the world, recently having delivered tables to Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and British Virgin Islands.
